Pershore's youngster's Impress at Schools Gala

 

 

In the recent Evesham & District small and big first schools swimming galas Pershore club's youngsters swam confidently winning individual place medals together with a long standing record from 1999.

 

It was Wiiliam Gearey who surpassed all previous times when taking gold in the 25m freestyle event beating an eleven year old record for year 3 boys, and in doing so was immensely proud to help his school twin the special achievement award. 

 

Meanwhile also winning gold in the big first schools was Tom Bailey in the 25m breaststroke event with Martha Bradley also taking gold in the small first schools gala.  Also in the medal haul was young Emma Bugg the undoubted success leaving Pershore's Head Coach Tom Naughton being utterly proud of his youngest set of swimmers.
