In the third round of this year's PGL league Pershore SC continued to make spectacularly good progress easing their way to a possible final with once again many of their members swimming up at least one age group up against teams from Stourbridge, Haden Hill and Redditch.

It was Owen Leeks (12) and Lizzie Vizard (13) who recorded their first wins in the 13/14yr 50m fly followed by Simon Sweatman in the 11/U 25m breaststroke. After ten events Redditch and Stourbridge were the danger clubs with Pershore in 2ndplace 2 pts behind leaders Redditch lying on 30 pts and Stourbridge not far behind. Michael Evans (13) and Chris Vizard (10) recorded more wins in the 13/14 yr 50m backstroke and 11/U 25m free, followed by Sam Doyle (9) and Katie Sanderson in the 10/U 25m fly heats. There then followed six 1stplaces from the next ten events together with three 2nd places. Victories coming from Joseph Doyle (12) and Hannah Simister (11) in the boys and girls 12/U 50m breastroke and William Gearey in the 11/U 25m fly. In the final ten relay events Pershore recoreded four 1st places and five 2nd places and received a speeding ticket in the other for going too fast for the league times.
