Tyler wins coveted Trophy.

Tyler McLean of Pershore Swimming Club has just been presented with their Head Coach's Achievement Trophy.

Tyler impressed the club's coaches even upon joining over a year ago but due to ASA rules was not allowed to compete until he had reached the age of nine. Immediately personal best's (pb) were being conquered culminating in qualifying for the County Championships in this coming March.

Tyler is a born team player and tries especially hard in team events leading the nine year old boys teams to several great performances. In a recent diddy gala Tyler swam 22.22 for his 25m breaststroke and gone a second quicker since recording a first place finish. In the same gala he came 2nd in the 25m free against older boys and recorded an even quicker time on the lead off leg in the 4 x 25m free team relay with 18.61.

Tyler's swimming prowess has also been recognised by his other training club at Worcester who have enlisted him into their ranks for one of their league events also in March.

Attending Cropthorne with Charlton junior school Tyler will be hoping to report more pb times in the months ahead.
