Tazmin wins Wychavon Sporting Award
The club would also like to congratulate and are justifiably proud of their ten year old Tazmin Pugh winning Wychavon's Junior Female Sports Personality of the year Award for 2009 when presented with her trophy at the Wychavon Sports Recognition Awards in January.
Since the prestigious ceremony she has not been resting on her laurels for one of the Region's most talented young swimmers as it has been down to hard training. This is in preparation for the County Championships in March and the Regional Championships in June, with the odd cameo appearance for her satellite training club 'Worcester Swimming Club' in their Winter League Galas. On the 13/14th March one of the weekends of the County Champs will be competed locally at Sansome Walk Pool in Worcester itself.
Then in April Pugh and her Pershore team mates will be stealing themselves for some sterling performances in the club's first appearance for some years in the Nuneaton and District Diddy League at Leamington Spa, hoping to make the finals in September.
