Jack wins club trophy.

Pershore Swimming Club's coach, Tom Naughton, recently presented his junior monthly achievement to nine year old Jack Betteridge.

Jack has been a member of the club for over two years now and has shown extraordinary determination regularly swimming personal bests (pb's) clocking up five silver and eight bronze competitive swimming awards already this year.

He has been called up by his other training venue at Worcester swimming club to swim in the winter 'Diddy League' competitions for them, and even last Sunday at Worcester's own prestigious Open Meet (full report next week) he set yet another three pb's in the 200m free of 3.m10.13 and placed 4th out 14 in the 9 year olds; the 200m Breaststroke of 4m15.51secs placed 3rd 9 year old and a 50m free of 40.60 and placed 7th out of 15 in the 9 year olds.

During the next few months Jack will be training hard to secure more county championship qualifying times and step up a gear to win a placing in next March's competition.
