Young Star of Pershore Pool.
Seven year old Josh Sharratt of Pershore Swimming Club has just been presented with their monthly achievement trophy and is the youngest yet to receive it.
In presenting the award Head Coach Tom Naughton stated Josh has been steadfast in his determination to improve and hasn't missed a training session since joining the club four months ago.
Josh started swimming at Pershore Leisure Centre on turning five years of age and progressed without falter from level 1 of the National Teaching Plan through to the final level 7 in record time. On joining the club he was able to swim four lengths of his stroke of choosing and steadily built up his stamina attending three sessions a week. Josh now regularly swims upwards of 30 lengths in a training session improving his technique in all four of the recognised strokes.
